How to raise a complaint with Zovii under the IT Rules, 2021 and the DPDP Act, 2023. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.

1. Grievance Officer

2. What you can complain about
- A profile, photo or message that breaks our Terms or Community Guidelines, or the law.
- Intimate images of you shared without your consent, or impersonation.
- An action we took on your account that you think is wrong.
- How we handle your personal data.
3. How to complain
The fastest way to report a person is in the app: open their profile or chat and tap Report. The report goes straight to our moderation queue with the details we need.
For anything else, including data requests, use Settings → My complaints and data requests in the app, where you can follow the status and read our reply. You can also email grievance@zovii.in with your name, the phone number on your Zovii account (we use it only to find your account), what happened, and any screenshots. You do not need an account to complain.
4. Timelines
- We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours.
- We resolve complaints within 15 days and tell you the outcome.
- Intimate images shared without consent, including morphed images, are removed within 24 hours of a complaint.
- Reports of someone under 18, threats or feeling unsafe lead to immediate suspension while we review.
5. Law enforcement
We respond to lawful requests from Indian government agencies and courts, and share only the data the request requires. Requests should be sent on official letterhead to the Grievance Officer. We keep a record of every request.
6. If you are not satisfied
If you are unhappy with the Grievance Officer's decision, you can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee set up by the Government of India within 30 days. For personal data complaints, you may also approach the Data Protection Board of India.
